og Senior Tour'en
Suzann Pettersen er fornøyd med å komme i gang igjen. Torsdag spiller hun i
Mexico i Lorena Ochoaa turnering. Tutta spiller med verten selv og Michelle
Wie. Det blir morsomt!
Her forteller hun på sin egen hjemmeside om opplevelsen i Las Vegas:
Suzann and her LPGA team mates beat the boys from the PGA Tour and Champions
Tour at Wendy's 3 Tour Challenge in Nevada on Tuesday. Now she is in Mexico
preparing to tee off the Lorena Ochoa Invitational by Banamex and Corona Light,
her first LPGA tournament since withdrawing from the CVS/pharmacy LPGA
Challenge in September with a foot injury.
The LPGA team won Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge on Tuesday at Rio Secco Golf Club,
Henderson, NV. The made-for-TV event pits three-person teams from the PGA Tour,
Champions Tour and LPGA against each other for a share in the million dollar
purse and to raise funds for the official charity partner The Dave Thomas
Foundation for Adoption.
The LPGA team of Kerr, Suzann Pettersen and Natalie Gulbis had a combined score
on the final nine holes to beat the PGA Tour team of Stewart Cink, Fred Couples
and Bubba Watson by two strokes. The women won the overall title by $70,000
over the PGA.
The Champions Tour team of Nick Price, Fred Funk and Jay Haas finished third
after winning the front nine with a team score of nine under.

Suzann said, “I struggled with the speed on the greens all day, sometimes
you’ve just got to make sure you get the job done. We lost the front nine but
won the back nine and the total. I was in the best flight, with Jay Haas and
Bubba Watson. It was great fun and a fantastic experience just to meet and get
to know the guys from the PGA and Champion Tours. It felt really good to be
back on the course."

Suzann Pettersen er i gang igjen etter at fotskaden er leget. Hun skal spille i
et felt med bare 9 spillere den 10. november. Det er 1 million dollar i
potten. I fjor var det herrene fra Senior Tour som vant.

Suzann is heading to the Las Vegas region next week as one of nine players,
taking part in the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge. The contest comprises three
players from each of the three major US based tours, with Natalie Gulbis,
Cristie Kerr and Suzann Pettersen from the LPGA Tour; Fred Funk, Jay Haas and
Nick Price from the Champions Tour; and Stewart Cink, Bubba Watson and Fred
Couples from the PGA Tour. They play against each other "in a head-to-head
competition for tour bragging rights and a share of the $1 million dollar purse".
The event, which takes place on 10 November, is held in benefit of The Dave
Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a nonprofit public charity dedicated to
increasing the adoptions of the more than 150,000 children in North America’s
foster care systems waiting to be adopted.
