10.02 Ny Guinness World Record:

GUINNESS WORLD RECORD IN GOLF SET USING HIRZL BRAND GOLF GLOVES
Orlando, Fl. The Guinness World Record for most consecutive balls hit in a twelve hour period was set January 27th aided by the same pair of Hirzl “TRUST Control” brand of golf gloves.

The consecutive 12-hour record now stands at an astonishing 7,721 balls hit at least one hundred yards in the air within a 30 degree wide landing area. Nigel Mangan, a native of Ireland, stated that the Hirzl glove was the most comfortable glove he had ever worn and was instrumental in providing his hands with the extreme comfort and durability he needed to help set the world record.
“The gloves were amazing and I used the same glove throughout the 12 hour duration,” stated Nigel Mangan. I was able to keep a steady, reliable grip on the club through over 8,500 total golf balls hit and the gloves never cracked, never were torn and remained as soft and supple as when I hit my first ball,” he added.

Using proprietary tanning procedures that are up to 8 times more complex than traditional golf glove manufacturing standards and utilizing specially selected kangaroo and cabretta leather, the Hirzl glove clearly demonstrated that it is the world’s leader in providing long-lasting durability and comfort, even under the most difficult conditions. The new world record of 7,721 balls hit is the
equivalent of over 100 rounds of 18-hole golf with the same gloves- remarkable by any standard.

Hirzl gloves are not just durable, but are designed to perform better than other gloves under any type of weather conditions, including rain, heat and high humidity.

“The difference between our gloves and conventional models is striking.” explains Bagher Pirouz, Managing Director of HIRZL. “HIRZL golf gloves offer up to three times more grip than other gloves on the market in dry weather conditions and up to five times more in wet weather than so-called specialist bad weather gloves. That’s thanks to our revolutionary grippp™ technology— delivering
high levels of club control game after game and directly impacting quality of play.”

The Hirzl brand gloves are currently sold in Europe and will be available in the United States this spring in retail and green grass shops nationwide.

HIRZL is the new specialist in high performance sport gloves. While most other sports brands have their real expertise in sport shoes, fashion or other sporting equipment, only HIRZL are true sports glove specialists. Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. HIRZL launched their specialist golf glove range in autumn 2008. In 2010 this will be followed by other ranges for cycling and
equestrianism.
