infancy. Kwazulu Natal is an
ideal all round golfing
destination with
internationally recognized
golf courses, one example is
Durban Country Club rated in
the top 100 golf courses in
the world and currently
number 3 in South Africa.
KZN also has some of the
finest Game Reserves in
Africa , the most famous
being The Hluhluwe Umfolozi
National Park founded in
1895 making it the oldest
Park in Africa.

North Coast Swing
Day 1 - Arrive Durban
International Airport –Met
by your guide.Transfer to
Five Burnham Guesthouse (www.fiveburnham.co.za)
which is situated in the
beautiful coastal resort of
Umhlanga Rocks. Time to
relax around the guest
houses stunning pool area or
visit Umhlanga . The village
has the most magnificent
beaches as well as top
quality restuarants and
bars. Umhlanga also boasts
in having the largest
shopping mall in the
southern hemisphere namely
The Gateway Theatre Of
Shopping.
Day 2 - Breakfast at the
guest house, we then travel
a short distance to KZN’s
premier golf course Durban
Country Club. Afternoon at
your leisure.
Day 3 - Morning at leisure.
Afternoon game at the sister
course to Durban Country
Club, Beachwood. A testing
links style course which is
always in immaculate
condition.
Day 4 - Today we travel up
the north coast for a round
at the Tom Weikopf design
Zimbali Country Club. A
combined links/coastal
forest course and one not to
be missed.
Day 5 - Time off from golf
today as we visit the famous
Shakaland Zulu experience.
Rated in the top 20 most
popular tourist destinations,
it is here you will learn
about the fascinating
customs and tradition of the
Zulu people which are still
practiced today.
Day 6 - Back to golf , today
we continue along the north
swing to Princes Grant.
Another gem which is part
links/coastal and offers
spectacular ocean views
throughout your round. After
your morning 18 holes we
travel further north to
safari territory and the big
five game reserves.
Overnight at a private game
reserve.
Day 7 - Depart private game
reserve and on to Lake St
Lucia one of 4 World
Heritage Sites in South
Africa. Here you will see
large numbers of Hippo and
Crocodile as well as
numerous varieties of bird
and marine life. Late
afternoon return to Umhlanga.
Day 8 - Morning at leisure,
then we are off to Mount
Edgecombe Country Club. This
club has two golf courses
and today we will play
course 1 which is a parkland
layout and the more
established of the two.
Day 9 - Today is optional
for you to play on a
favourite course visited
during your stay with us.
This is subject to
availability of tee times.
Special farewell dinner
arranged by your hosts at
Five Burnham in the evening.
Day 10 - Depart for Dbn
International.
South Coast Swing
Day 1 - Arrive Durban

down the coast to the highly
acclaimed Robert Trent Jones
jnr designed Wild Coast
Country Club ranked number 7
in the country. After the
golf you will have the
option of a visit to the
casino or simply stroll
around the resort taking in
all the sights that makes
the Wild Coast so unique.
Day 3 - We continue the
south coast swing to the San
Lameer Country Club rated in
the top 30 in SA . This
magnificent coastal layout
is a tight one so percentage
play is advisable on some of
the holes. Relax on the
private beach with a few
sundowners before we head
back to Five Burnham
Guesthouse.
Day 4 - Staying on the south
coast swing, todays round
will be at South Africa’s
Augusta, Selborne Country
Club. This is truly a course
not to be missed, also
ranked in the top 30 and
arguably the most well
manicured of all.
Day 5 - Time for a well
earned day at leisure. Relax
at the beach, around the
pool at Five Burnham or
venture up to Gateway for
some retail therapy.
Day 6 - Back to golf , A
slight change of coastal
swings today, due to the
fact all game viewing parks
are only on the North Coast.
So we swop the south for the
north swing to Princes
Grant. Another gem which is
part links/coastal and
offers spectacular ocean
views throughout your round.
